Kevin Hart and Ludacris at George Floyd’s Funeral


On Thursday, a memorial service was held in the honor of George Floyd whose murder has sparked off huge protest throughout United States and more broadly to police violence against other black Americans. George Floyd’s Funeral was attended by way of many well known personality from Hollywood.

George Floyd died on May 25 after a policeman Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for over eight mins regardless of the 46-year-old George Floyd was pleading him to allow him go and continuously repeating “I can’t breath”. The video of George Floyd’s arrest went viral which sparked protests and riots in Minneapolis and other cities throughout the United States of America and later reached other part of the world.

Celebrities such as Kevin Hart, Ludacris, Tyrese Gibson, Tiffany Haddish, Master P and movie producer Will Packer attended the service in Minneapolis. The Memorial service will continue for couple of days in Raeford, North Carolina and in Houston, Texas.

Everyone paid their condolence and stood up for eight minutes and forty six seconds, the exact time George was on the ground earlier before he was killed by the policeman at George Floyd’s Funeral.

Not only in United States but people all over the world are protesting against police violence and racism. Many celebrities like Halsey, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes and others had been elevating their voice towards this incident.

Some celebrities have also participated in the protest and have been injured or arrested at some stage in the protest.
