Combined with her husband, actor and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, Fisher’s net worth is estimated to be around $160 million dollars. Isla Lang Fisher was born on February 3, 1976 in Muscat, Oman.  Isla’s parents Elspeth Reid and Brian Fisher are Scottish. She spent her early childhood with her family Bathgate, Scotland, before moving to Perth, Australia and moved to Australia when she was 6 years old in early 1980’s.

In school Isla was cast in a production of Little Shop of Horrors. She also studied mime in Paris.  The teen sensation, Isla Fisher grew up in Australia and began working professionally on Australian soap operas like ‘Home and Away’ and ‘Bay Cove’ in the 90’s before becoming a big screen star.

Fisher first met her future husband,  Sacha Baron Cohen in 2002, at a party in Sydney. The two started dating and were engaged in 2004. The couple married on 15 March 2010 in Paris, in a quiet intimate Jewish ceremony. The couple have three children, two daughters Olive (2008), elula (2011, and a son Montgomery (2015).

Before marrying the English-Jewish Comedian actor Sasha Baron, Fisher converted to Judaism and took the Hebrew Name Ayala, which means Doe. 

“I will definitely have a Jewish wedding just to be with Sacha. I would do anything—move into any religion—to be united in marriage with him. We have a future together and religion comes second to love as far as we are concerned”, she said.

In 2014 and 2015, Fisher donated her signed shoes to raise funds and awareness for the ‘Small Steps Project’ Celebrity Shoe Auction,  a charity supporting children living on landfill sites.
